It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Reverend Ken Anderson, who departed peacefully on the evening of Sunday, 9 February, surrounded by his beloved family—his wife Polly and children Rachel and Jamie.
Ken was a man of intelligence, compassion, and unwavering dedication. His life was one of service, guided always by his faith and a profound commitment to the communities he served. His leadership extended across Ruzawi School, Springvale, and Peterhouse, where he selflessly took on the responsibility of chaplaincy, ensuring the spiritual and personal growth of countless pupils. He also led the Dedication Service at Ruzawi, an occasion attended by Canon Robert Grinham, Ken’s godfather and co-founder of the school.
Throughout his journey, Ken was steadfastly supported by his devoted wife, Polly, his partner in life and faith. His love for his family and his calling never wavered, leaving an enduring legacy of kindness, wisdom, and devotion.
To Polly, Rachel, Jamie, and their families, we extend our deepest condolences during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the memories of a life well lived and a love that remains eternal. ... See MoreSee Less

ROPA successfully handed over nine sailing boats to the school during Grandparents Day yesterday. The event received a lot of positive feedback and interest from children, parents, and grandparents. Special thanks to Phil for his exceptional work in cleaning, refurbishing, and transporting the boats to the school and to Mark James, who organised and sourced the boats. We also extend our gratitude to the families who contributed financially to this cause. We are so excited to bring sailing back to Ruzawi. ⛵️🌊 ... See MoreSee Less
