The Headmaster, Staff, Past and Present Pupils, and the entire Ruzawi family are devastated to be making this post. On 30th December, we tragically lost Makanaka Masuka in a motor vehicle accident.
The Ruzawi family is heartbroken by this loss, but we are deeply honoured to have had the privilege of knowing Maka and sharing in her light during her time with us. Her beautiful smile and wonderful nature touched everyone around her and will be profoundly missed.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her twin, Matida, and the Masuka family for their unimaginable loss. Maka’s life was taken far too soon, having just left Ruzawi after completing Grade 7, ready to begin her journey at Peterhouse Girls School. Her absence leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of her Ruzawi family.
The most beautiful young lady, who was wholehearted in all she did. She was always full on joy and cared deeply for others. My thoughts and prayers are with Matida and the Masuka family. Thank you Ruzawi for this video which captures Maka's character so well x x

Congratulations to our Ruzawi Old Pupil, Brian Bennett, for his incredible performance in the Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan match! 🇿🇼🎉 Scoring a century 💯 and taking 5 wickets 🎯 in the same game is truly remarkable. Named Man of the Match, Brian continues to showcase his extraordinary talent and determination. 🏆✨
The photo says it all – a journey from 2014, when Brian made the Eastern Interprovincial Rugby Team 🏉, to his success on the cricket field today! A natural-born sportsman from the start, and we couldn’t be prouder. 🌟

This term, our Grade 2 extension pupils have been exploring the fascinating world of terrariums—learning how they are constructed and how they sustain themselves. They studied the life cycle of a terrarium and the ecosystem that thrives within. Together, they collected plants and accessories for a Jurassic Park-themed terrarium, carefully arranging layers and plants for the best layout. The boys also held a 'lottery,' where five lucky chongololos were chosen to live in their new dinosaur-themed home.
